Correction

"My child, don’t reject the LORD’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the LORD corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights." [Proverbs 3:11,12]

"It is a waste of time to correct conceited people; they will hate you for it. But if you correct the wise, they will respect you." [Proverbs 9:8]

"Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid." [Proverbs 12:1]

"Correction is burdensome to the person that abandons the right way: and the one that hates reproof shall die."[Proverbs 15:10]

"Conceited people do not like to be corrected; they never ask for advice from those who are wiser." [Proverbs 15:12]

"A wise person learns more from being corrected once, than a foolish person learns from 100 painful errors." [Proverbs 17:10]

"You can trust a friend who loves you enough to correct you (when you are wrong), but enemies use smooth-talk to take advantage of you." [Proverbs 27:6]

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: so that the one who serves God may be complete, having been fully equipped toward every good work." [2 Timothy 3:16,17]

"And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said, “My child, don’t make light of the LORD’s discipline, and don’t give up when he corrects you. For (when it is necessary) the LORD disciplines those He loves, and he chastises each one He accepts as His child." [Hebrews 12:5,6]

"I correct and discipline everyone I love. Take this seriously, and change the way you think and act." [Revelation 3:19]
