The Right Perspective Builds Spiritual Endurance

Daily we face lots of ‘small things’… micro-aggressions, micro-pressures and subtle temptations.

Emotions can inflate them to seem larger or more difficult than they really are.

Scripture reminds us to have PERSPECTIVE:

“If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?” [Jer. 12:4]

Nothing will arise today for which GOD cannot / has not provided guidance:

“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.” [1 Cor. 10:13]

These situations can be used opportunities to build spiritual endurance and maturity:

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” [Jam.  1:2-4]

Building strength and endurance to handle the bigger things in life prevents sweating small things!
