Scriptures 'Never out of Stock'
For over a year straight we’ve been running in full production mode.
This stoppage has opened more time to do spiritual things that bring rest to the soul.
We’re all being reminded the world is a fragile and uncertain place. But while many facilities are closing, what provides stability for us, is having open access to the Scriptures. They’re filled with detailed records of Gods provision and guidance during incredibly tough times.
The verse that reminded us most of this is from the book of Romans:
“𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘶𝘴, 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦. We will need endurance and encouragement regardless of the austerity or prosperity of any society.
We’re thankful God chose to have the Scriptures written to preserve all the truths that people need to know - and how to apply them. Having Gods perspective can shorten our learning curve, spare us from costly mistakes and give us sustenance.
Whereas other items are running out...The Scriptures are still available today in large supply, and as fresh and as awakening as the morning’s coffee!
