PATIENCE

ANTONYMS: fear, idleness, weakness
The Earth may rotate at approx. 1,000 mph… But, that doesn’t mean that we need things in life to happen quickly to be happy or fulfilled.
It’s easy to be impulsive, but it’s better to be patient.
⚪️ Scripture teaches that impulsiveness is the common cause of many peoples troubles and insecurity:
“Enthusiasm without knowledge is not good; impatience will get you into trouble.” [Prov. 19:2]
“A person who is impatient is as insecure as an city without a wall.” [Prov. 25:28]
⚪️ Scripture also teaches that #patience produces a fruitful life and harmonious relationships:
“And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and produce a huge harvest with patience” [Lk. 8:15]
“May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.” [Rom. 15:5]
Truly good things are worth the wait!
