Not compromising Biblical integrity for personal relationships

This magazines title reminds of a rebuking statement Jesus Christ made. It cited how people who represent Gods Will (here, regarding ‘Prophets’) are often treated in their personal relationships:

“Jesus said to them, "Prophets are respected everywhere except in their own hometown and by their kinfolk (relatives) and their family within their house." [Mk. 6:4]

What Jesus said was / is still true - whether of Prophets or anyone bold enough to address matters according to Scripture rather than their emotions or alliances.

How we choose to engage those speaking Gods Word or handling situations accordingly reveals our degree of respect for #GodsMessage 📖 itself. Our humility is always the right response to Gods Will.

Scripture encourages all desiring to walk like Christ to ‘Speak Up’⬆️. It takes great agápē love and courage to do so, and our ‘speaking up’ is key to our ‘growing up’:

“Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.” [Eph.4:15]

We don’t have to allow the relationships we have or that we grew up with to stop us from growing spiritually into the people that God wants us to be!

Don’t drop the 🎙- Keep Speaking!
