Life DOES come with Instructions!

Maybe you have heard that “life comes with no instructions”

It sounds like a FACT… But, in reality statements like this have a subtle way of ignoring and shading some VERY obvious TRUTHS…

THE POINT: “Life coming with no instructions” might be a POPULAR opinion, but it is NOT a BIBLICAL truth.

Here are some scriptures about this topic:

2 Peter 1:3 - God's divine power has given us everything we need for life (in all of its manifestations) and for godliness (godly character developed only via intimate relationship with God). This power was given to us through knowledge of the one who called us by Gods own glory and integrity.

Scripture is a record of all essential knowledge to address needs for human life and tells how humans enter and sustain an intimate relationship with God.

Psalms 32:8 - I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you.

God provides instruction, teaching and counsel for anyone who follows Him. Being guided by Gods ‘loving eye’ eliminates the guesswork and saves us time and heartache.

Proverbs 8:5-11 [AMP]- 5“O you naive or inexperienced [who are easily misled], understand prudence and seek astute common sense; And, O you [closed-minded, self-confident] fools, understand wisdom [seek the insight and self-discipline that leads to godly living]. 6“Listen, for I will speak excellent and noble things; And the opening of my lips will reveal right things. 7“For my mouth will utter truth, And wickedness is repulsive and loathsome to my lips. 8“All the words of my mouth are in righteousness (upright, in right standing with God); There is nothing contrary to truth or perverted (crooked) in them. 9“They are all straightforward to him who understands [with an open and willing mind], And right to those who find knowledge and live by it. 10“Take my INSTRUCTION rather than [seeking] silver, And take knowledge rather than choicest gold, 11For wisdom is better than rubies; And all desirable things cannot compare with her.

Naivety is as common a trait of youth, as close-mindedness is a common trait to aging… But, God’s wisdom and instruction mitigate and prevent both! We don’t HAVE TO be limited to learn only via the consequences of being naive nor close-minded.

Proverbs 8:33 - “Heed (pay attention to) INSTRUCTION and be wise, And do not ignore or neglect it.

Age is NOT the key to wisdom, getting older is no guarantee of getting wiser nor better. We cannot receive the benefit of good things which we ignore or neglect.

Proverbs 15:32 - He who ignores INSTRUCTION despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding.

Self-love and self-loathing are each determined by our openness to Godly instruction.

Hebrews 12:11 - No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields a harvest of righteousness and peace to those who have EXERCISED themselves in the practice of godly discipline and being trained by it.

Enduring the corrections we each need to make as we practice good disciplines is the key to our having TRUE inner peace and a harvest of other benefits.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 - Therefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received His message delivered by us, you didn’t think of that message as being our words or as mere human ideas. You accepted what we delivered to you as being the actual Word of God. And this Word continues to work powerful results in your lives because you have chosen to believe it accordingly.

Gods wisdom ‘works’ - PERFECTLY. It’s unreasonable to claim something doesn’t work if we haven’t learned how to utilize it.

It is VERY well-worth taking the time to humble ourselves and practice what we learn from The Scriptures.

So... contrary to popular opinion - life DOES come with Instructions!
