Hair Care
Hurtful experiences may lead us to think that we’re unimportant. But this couldn’t be further from The Truth.
God confirms our worth in the Scriptures, so that we can choose to think His thoughts over our own. We came across one record this weekend in the Gospel of Luke, where Christ talks about our worth in an interesting way.
"𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴? 𝘠𝘦𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘥, "𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘥, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥. 𝘋𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳; 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘴.” [Luke 12:6,7].
Despite the attention and money spent on hair, no one thinks to count them. Here, Christ teaches not only that we are more precious to God than other creations, but that God cares about our smallest detail. So, if Gods concern is that precise, then His care concerning the ‘BIG’ things must be as great... greater than we could imagine!
Our conclusion... the more convinced we become of our importance to God and His incredible love for us, the less we’ll tend to fear and think we’re unworthy of being loved.
