'Designed to SHINE'!
We just received this incredible gift from dear members of our family… It reminds that we were all ‘designed to SHINE’!
Here’s (4) favorite Scriptures on staying BRIGHT!:
“…GOD is Light, and there is no darkness in GOD at all.” [Ex. 1Jhn. 1:5]
“You (we) are the light for the whole world. A city built on top of a hill cannot be hidden, and no one lights a lamp and puts it under a clay pot. Instead, it is placed on a lampstand, where it can give light to everyone in the house. Make your light shine, so others will see the good you do and will praise your Father in heaven.” [Matt. 5:14-16]
“…you shine as lights, as you hold firmly to the Word of Life…” [ex. Php 2:15,16]
“You used to be like people living in the dark, but now you are people of the Light because you belong to the Lord. So act like people of the Light.” [Eph. 5:8]
The world is dark, but GOD is LIGHT - as we live according to HIS will, we’ll reflect that Light. That’s the key to both having vision for our lives and staying visible to others. It is crucial that we don’t allow pursuit of self-centered pleasures nor society’s pressures to dim the Light given to our lives!
