A Greater ‘Constant’
Q: Is ‘change’ the ONLY constant - as the popular saying goes?
If that is true, how do we have the stability needed to handle life’s changes, and avoid being consumed by everything around us?
Here’s something we read in scripture:
“Because I am the LORD, and I do not change. That is why you descendants of Jacob are not consumed.” [Mal. 3:6]
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” [Jam. 1:7]
“And Gods wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the reverence of the LORD is His treasure.” [Isa. 33:6]
Though change happens consistently, there is a greater ‘constant’ that gives stability to those who want it.
